Abstract :
Effective knowledge transfer in new ventures´ social network has been one of many factors crucial to new ventures´ survival and growth. This paper explores the effects of new ventures´ social network on knowledge transfer. The results show that network structure has significant effects on transferring knowledge to new ventures. High density, greater centrality, heterogeneity and lager size in new ventures´ network can facilitate knowledge transfer. Meanwhile, network relation also has significant effects on transferring knowledge to new ventures. Strong tie, trust and durable tie in new ventures´ network can facilitate knowledge transfer.
