Abstract :
This paper describes the application of carbon nanotubes(CNT) in injection thrust vectoring of rocket motors using multiple plume spray pattern system. The CNTs are a new dimension in thrust generation. They have an exceptional quality of photoreaction, thermal conductivity and directional guidance. Using its ability to produce and guide thermo power waves, it is added as a fuel additive to produce CNT propulsive fluid which has the power to enhance thrust even at low volumes. The fluid is injected into the rocket engine main exhaust in the required direction at the aft end of the nozzle using multiple plume spray pattern system for efficiency. This enhancement is used for thrust vectoring of a rocket, which is the only way for attitude control. Its usage reduces the load factor of an extra fuel tank.
