Abstract :
Computational cybernetics (CC) is defined as an emergent intelligent interdisciplinary research and development. In a sense CC is more general than the computational intelligence, since CC optimizes both the traditional soft computing together with its missing interface with intelligent human beings. Federal programs that are related but not yet focused in this new concept of CC are exemplified herewith in the hope to generate more funding in this new area in the coming 21 century. CC is tentatively defined as the science and technology that treats intelligent systems with man in the loop. It may be an embodiment of digital simulation and implementation or analogy/mathematical analysis and modeling as an intelligent aggregate of both man and cybernetics
