Abstract :
Method of obtaining hot-pressed composed cathodes based on barium hafnate with tungsten with different percentage of components and experimental results of thermoemission properties investigations of these cathodes are represented. It is shown that cathodes of 63 mass% BaHfO3 + 37 mass% W is most effective one. It allows to obtain the thermoemission current density 230 A/cm2 at 2000 K. Evaporation rate of emission active components for cathode with 37 mass % W at T = 1900 K equals to G = (5plusmn2)-10-6 kg/(m2-s).
