Abstract
Based on Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, this paper analyzes the long-run and short-run influence of expenditure for S&T on economic growth in the minority area. In the process of analysis, the methods of panel unit root test and panel co-integration together with the error correction model (ECM) are used. The results show that expenditure for S&T promoted the economic growth in the minority area. However, there was a time-lag effect, and the effect in the long run was more significant than that in the short run.
