Abstract
With the increase of operating frequency, the size of the rectangular waveguide for microwave propagation will reduce and it is usually 7.11 mm*3.56 mm in Ka-band, which limits its power propagation capability. Gyrotron is a new type of high power microwave source, which can generate the peak output power of more than 100 kW in Ka-band. So it is difficult for microwave power propagation with single above rectangular waveguide in this frequency band. In this paper, in order to improve the output capability of peak power for the gyrotron system with single mode propagation, a multi-waveguide output structure is simulated and analyzed.
