Abstract :
It is shown that the stability of the overall anti-windup compensated closed loop system obtained as the solution of the natural anti-windup problem can lack robustness "in the large". Subsequently, a new, weakened L2 anti-windup problem is defined and solved by suitably modifying the approach proposed in Teel and Kapur (1997).
