Abstract :
The article analyzes the influences of carbon tax on Chinese economy by constructing a dynamic recursive general equilibrium model. The simulation results show that carbon tax will make negative impacts on the economic growth in the short term. However, it will greatly reduce carbon emissions and meanwhile stimulate economic development in the long term.
