Abstract :
With the development of the third generation mobile communications, LAS-CDMA (large area synchronized code division multiple access) has been accepted in 2000 as a proposal in 3GPP2 (see http://www.3gpp2.org, 2000). Although its simulation has very attractive properties, we have been unable to find a strict theoretical analysis for its codes´ properties. LAS-CDMA codes include LA codes, LS codes and combined LA and LS codes - LAS codes. We present a theoretical analysis of LA code properties. We not only extract and analyze the mathematical formula of LA primary codes and polarization inversion, but also give the proof of many results which were only found in simulation before.
