Abstract :
The function of smart antennas is limited when the DOA (direction of arrival) of MAI (multiple access interference) and that of the desired user are hard to differentiate. An improved scheme to solve the above problem is given, and its performance is analyzed and simulated in both anti-noise and anti-MAI aspects. The new scheme is named SASOPPIC (smart antennas combining soft output partial parallel interference cancellation).
