Abstract :
There is close relationship between the level of rural basic education and development of urbanization, but lack of empirical analysis. This paper reveals the relationship between them through the establishment of vector auto-regressive model based on the related data and uses the impulse response function to explain. It comes to the conclusion that urbanization development has negative effects on rural basic education in the short term, however, there exists strong positive interaction response between them in the long run. Corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are raised based on the conclusion.
