  • Abstract
    In China, it is promoting vigorously the process of urbanization throughout the country and the government and scholars´ is paying much attention to the urbanization strategy. Revealing the influence factors of urbanization on different area characteristics is significant. Based on the specific circumstances of Henan province and the survey, this paper makes correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis for some influence factors of in Henan Province by applying the software of SPSS16.0 and EViews6.0. The results indicate that Henan province is in the state that the growth of the second industrial output holds the important status for urbanization while the development of the tertiary industry begins to promote increasingly the process of urbanization, income gap of urban and rural population is the main impetus of the transfer of rural population to urban areas, and the promoting effect of institutional factors on urbanization is yet weak, the market mechanism should be further improved.
