  • Abstract
    This paper presents a model-based actuator fault detection system using Kalman filter. A Multiple model approach using bank of Kalman filters is applied here to model the various faults occurring in the actuators in Reusable Launch Vehicle (RLV). It focuses on the various actuator faults occurring in the in its descent phase. MATLAB is used to simulate the actuator failures.
