Abstract
Presently, the user requires high speed communication network with low communication latency and high bandwidth capacity and these users are increasing day by day. Optical Multistage Interconnection network (OMIN) accomplish the increasing demand of users and provides high speed telecommunication and parallel computing system. Optical Crosstalk is the major problem with OMINs. It is caused by coupling of two signals within a switching element (SE). In the present paper, we have applied the Address Selection Algorithm (ASA) on nonblocking OMIN. This algorithm gives better performance on blocking OMIN against the crosstalk problem. In this paper we have analyzed the performance of ASA algorithm on nonblocking OMIN and taken the Clos Network as a running example of nonblocking OMIN.
