Abstract :
This work proposes an adaptive interpolation method for reducing blurs, when a motion picture is displayed on flat panel monitors such as plasma and liquid crystal displays. The method uses four frames to interpolate a target frame changing the prediction mode. From experimental results, there is no gap at covered or uncovered regions in the interpolated frames.
