In the modern society of which material capital is relatively abundant, human capital places an increasingly prominent role in economic growth. This article,which is based on the principle of human capital in connection with the actual situation of China´s regional economic development, uses Lucas´ model of human capital spillover to analysis growth differences in human capital´s contribution to economic between jiangxi, a province in the central region of China,and Shanghai,a city in East regions.
