Abstract :
A new type ultrasonic generator with dynamic frequency tuning and amplitude modulation is designed in this article, with direct digital frequency synthesis (DDS) chip AD9852 being used in phase-locked loop (PLL) instead of traditional voltage controlled oscillator. On the base of the analysis for the ultrasonic generator characters, the whole ultrasonic generator system is built which consists of microprocessor control unit, signal generator, power amplifier, the feedback of voltage and current, phase detector, and low-pass filter, etc.
