Abstract :
The paper describes a NIM (network interface module) for digital terrestrial TV signal processing (COFDM application). Presented are the system design concepts and results obtained from bit error rate measurements. The BER degradation, depending on phase noise, AWGN, sine spurious spikes and power supply disturbances, is also discussed. We demonstrate that the presented NIM design is able to handle COFDM signals with good performance.
