  • Abstract
    The paper deals with the synthesis of a speed controller by the neuro-fuzzy techniques. Because the associated electrical drive system (with asynchronous motor and a vector control strategy) is used for a transportation system, the main concern is for obtaining a smooth motion and a robust behavior of the whole system. The fuzzy solution is analyzed comparatively with the standard structure that generated it by training the neural network Different training conditions are taken into account. The influence of the motor parameters, load characteristics, reference value and tuning parameters are considered.
