After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

The five marketing strategies of Alibaba have accelerated its development and helped to distinguish itself in the field of e-trade in the world. Firstly this paper reviews Alibaba´s development, then analyzes its five marketing strategies and the creditability it has attached importance to. Finally it provides some proposals for its future development after the global financial crisis.
