Abstract :
A triple-band monopole antenna with dual-sleeves inside the ground plane was presented here. The proposed antenna works at the frequency bands of WLAN/WiMAX. By introducing two sleeves inside the ground plane, the triple-band operations are easily achieved. The simulated and measured results are identical with each other and a triple-band of 2.38-2.85 GHz, 3.35-4.30 GHz and 5.12-5.85 GHz is gotten. The measured radiation patterns at different center frequency of the triple-band are given and the design procedure is also shown for a better understanding.
