Abstract
This paper is concerned with the generation of various different polytopic representation of the vehicle model for LMI based control design. In case of polytopic models conditions like controllability, observability of the systems and the feasibility of the linear matrix inequalities based analysis and design strongly depends on the weighting of the LTI vertex components of the polytopic model. TP model transformation is performed on the LPV model of the heavy vehicle, the HOSVD based canonical and other convex polytopic representations are presented and in a controller design problem the various representations are investigated.
