The seasonal fluctuation of AVI has significant impact on economic growth. Based on the methods of Directional Statistics, this paper analyzes AVI in Shaanxi Province between 2006 and 2010. Distribution types are ascertained by using von Mises distribution tests, which is submitting to bimodal von Mises distributions. Correspondingly, the result indicated that the AVI in Shaanxi Province has a character of seasonal fluctuation, that the two wave crests respectively appear in June and December.
