Abstract :
The work presents an improvement in plasma TV image quality. Adaptive control of the subfield configuration secures maximum peak luminance, while vision based optimization of the subfield assures gray scale performance in the whole gamut. Motion artifacts are also minimized utilizing adaptive gray scale control.
