Abstract :
This paper aims to use an extension of Petri nets, Fuzzy Coloured Petri nets to model a manufacturing system and to solve conflicts that occur when processes are competing for the same resources. System resources, part routing and buffers are modeled in Coloured Petri Nets and a fuzzy rule-based system is modeled using Fuzzy Petri Nets. Conflicts may occur at the load station, input and output buffers. Multi criteria fuzzy rules are built to give priorities to the conflicting process. Real time information based on the system state is used to solve the conflicts. With the proposed design it is possible to settle the production scheduling and the system control. CPN Tools will be used for modeling, simulating and analyzing the performance.
