Abstract
Based on an arbitrary existed SHP digital map, the database structures in its layers are expanded automatically, and CPIs are generated. An amending method is introduced based on word-base, which is used to amend the possible CPI errors in Chinese polyphones. CPI inquiry functionality is added to the original digital map and further extended into customary abbreviation inquiry functionality, which makes digital map inquiry efficient and humanized.
