Abstract
In this paper, a dynamic bandwidth allocation scheme is proposed to achieve collision free burst transmission in time-slotted OBS networks. Various simulation results show its superior performance over conventional OBS networks with/without wavelength converters. The signaling overhead is also affordable since only few probing, reservation and releasing packets will be sent for each connection in each frame. Some theoretical analysis for the proposed scheme are being under taken
