Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a new approach for controlling both the radiation efficiency and the bandwidth of an antenna. Selectivity is related to the Q factor of each circuit element. Therefore, in a first step, the approach consists in the study of the evolution of the Q factors of elementary miniaturized cavities. In order to design a ¿filtering¿ antenna, such cavities are arranged to obtain a specific frequency response, the radiation impedance being the scattered load of the filter designed.
