Abstract
A new design of offset array feed parabolic reflector antenna, in which the feeding array is configured based on the Huygens-Fresnel principle, is proposed for spatial power combining. In the new design, the feeding array is not placed at the focus of the parabolic reflector but on the wave-front radiated from the point feed located at the focus. The amplitudes and the phases of the array elements are set to simulate the distribution of wave-front of the point feed. It is shown by the simulation that the new design can combine the power at the desired direction more efficiently than tradition configure that places the array at the focus.
