Abstract :
In this paper, we have proposed a triple-band antenna with H-shaped and U-shaped slots for PCS/WLAN/UWB applications. The antenna has a modified trapezoidal radiating patch, H-shaped and U-shaped slots, CPW feeding, and step for impedance matching. Parametric studies and radiation characteristics for the antenna are presented. The proposed antenna exhibits a voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) of less than 2.0, and the figure-of-eight radiation patterns over the operating frequency band. Details of the proposed antenna design and the simulated and measured results are presented and discussed.
