Abstract :
Considering the requirements of versatility and realtime quality, modern ac servo drive inherently is a typical complex real-time system. In this paper, a UML (Unified Modeling Language) based development process is proposed for handling the design complexity of such a servo drive system comprising network support, PC-based human machine interface (HMI) and versatile servo control functions. Different views of the system models are given. The convergence and clarity features of the development process are shown.
