Abstract :
Single screw compressor is a new type of compressor, the position and size of meshing areas directly affects the performance of single screw compressor. Based on the mechanism of the single screw compressor, the meshing points is studied by MATLAB software, the side and underside meshing zones is drawn to provide a theory basis for design of star-wheel. The three inter-meshing zones which is enveloped by milling cutter is analyzed, the clearance between the flat tooth and the screw groove bottom is also studied. Finally, a screw that conforms to requirements is produced by five-axis NC machining.
