Abstract :
Distributed transmission (DTx) is a broadcast technique for ATSC digital television (DTV) systems using multiple transmitters to deliver digital television signals to consumers. It is a form of single frequency network (SFN) implementation similar to that used in other DTV transmission systems. It depends on receiver adaptive equalizers to treat multiple received signals as multipath. The interplay between receiver designs and DTx systems is examined.
