Abstract :
This study shows that coherent control can be performed even on biological samples, as demonstrated in the control of the energy flow in the LH2 antenna complex at the primary event in photosynthesis. The results open a new access for spectroscopic studies that will provide insight into how nature designs biological systems for optimal performance.
