  • Abstract
The space inflated structures are suitable for large space structures applications, such as communication antenna, solar sail and space mirrors. A typical application for the space inflated structure is the inflated toroidal structure (torus) which used to provide structure support. In this study, The active vibration control of the inflated space torus was studied by the following steps, finite element model was built to simulate the inflated space torus then verified by comparison with analytical solution, a state space model needed for vibration controller application was built, Linear Quadratic Gaussian controller used for vibration suppression.
