Abstract :
There are many access technologies which it is possible to realize new and reconstruct the existing access networks. The goal is to find those technologies that will best meet the quality parameters, use of existing resources and provide support to current and future services. In considering this problem there are many criteria to be taken into account. In consideration we started from the hypothesis that technology can change the status of optimality when changing bandwidth and density of users. Possible optimization methods do not provide a universal approach to this problem. In this paper, the methodology used, which also takes into account the quality criteria and criterion optimal utilization of existing network resources. As a result, this paper offers a new algorithm and optimization methods suitable for the optimization of both fixed and mobile access networks. Also, the algorithm and optimization methods perform optimal technology choice with corresponding topology at the given conditions. The results confirm the initial hypothesis.
