Abstract :
In this paper, an acryl glass model shaking table test is made on a high-rise building at its elastic stage. The building is a cylinder-shear structure with transfer story, and its dynamic characteristics and responses under earthquake are researched Similarity relation is determined which is used in calculating the results from model to prototype. The finite element analysis is made for comparison to the experiment results. The action of the transfer story in is certificated, and some suggestion is put forward for aseismic design this kind of structure.
