Status of women´s participation in science and technology in Costa Rica: Women informatics

This paper compares the participation of women studying or have studied computer science in the country. An analysis from variables such as grade level, activity status and income and the main differences with men. Overall, the results show that women have lower participation in the career and that in most of the variables gender differences are evident.
