Abstract
The participation of women in undergraduate program of Systems and Computing Engineering at the University of los Andes, Colombia, has been declining over the past years, and today it is only about 11%. This phenomenon has been evidenced in many universities around the world and there are several collaborative projects and networks trying to understand the causes to find mitigation actions in the future. In this paper, we present progress of the project being done in our context. We present figures for the last two decades that show the problem, the instruments we have defined to understand the causes and some preliminary results.
