Abstract :
This paper will outline various configurations and optimum topologies. This paper reviews various configurations of synchronous reluctance machines and developments as PM assisted reluctance machines. The performance of such machines is reviewed and recent developments are also highlighted. The paper provides the analysis, design and performance of flux-guided, both as reluctance and PM assisted reluctance machines.
