Application of contingency theory in the teaching reform of management information system in the specialty of industrial and commercial management

Management information system is a marginal cross discipline that is featured with comprehensiveness. Through the analyses of the factors influencing the teaching of management information system in the specialty of industrial and commercial management, the paper proposes the application of contingency theory to solve the problems with teaching practice reform of management information system. It is aimed to apply differential teaching mode to improve the teachers´ professionalism and reform of the teaching practices for the enhancement of the teaching quality of management information system in the specialty of industrial and commercial management. It is also hoped to trigger off the students´ initiatives and train excellent management human resources.
