Abstract :
The development of highly dynamic and pervasive environments has lead to a proliferation of services coming from different providers. These services are usually deployed independently of the context, platforms and devices present in the environment. We propose an ontology-based approach to take advantage of semantic to enable an optimized deployment of services in pervasive environments. We realize a deployment system which takes into account semantic description of services, semantic description of environment and semantic description of deployment itself to apply deployment strategies. Our semantic deployment is based on the Ontology Web Language for Services (OWL-S). We enrich the OWL-S with devices and platforms considerations.
