Abstract :
The advantages and limitations of methods for the measurement of microwave dielectrics are discussed. Attention is given to the stripline resonator method, the microstrip method, a nondestructive method using a trimmed clad panel as the specimen, variations of the waveguide cavity perturbation method, and an adaption of the stripline resonator test. The attributes that an ideal test method for routine use in the industry would have are listed.<>
