  • Abstract
    This paper compares three generalized multilevel current-fed inverter (CFI) topologies and assesses their performance characteristics for single-phase transformerless high current applications. The inverters are simulated and compared for their output current THD and total VA rating. The complexity of the circuit, associated implementation cost hence the practical feasibility of the topologies are also examined. The comparisons was carried out using Simulinks (PowerSim) software.
