Abstract :
Due to the considerably big marketplace, enterprises seek to benefit from e-commerce in China. But up to now very few of them have been successful, because some business models and strategies in developed countries can not be applied in China. This article mainly discusses previous publications on the definition of electronic commerce and business modals, previous empirical studies on determinants of companies´ performance, key factors to e-commerce diffusion in developing countries and the current situation of e-commerce in China.
