Abstract
This paper considers the generation of three-dimensional imagery from a single-pass airborne SAR interferometer. Defining equations are given, together with an analysis of the sensitivity of target height estimation to errors in knowledge of system parameters. This allows identification of key parameters to be made with a view to reducing the effects of turbulent aircraft motions on the resulting 3-D SAR image. Finally, initial results obtained with the DRA C-band interferometric SAR are presented
