Abstract :
At the beginning of 21st century, it is seen a discernible increase in space expenditure in all over the world especially in US, European Union, Russia, China, Japan, Korea, India and Argentina. On the other hand, in 2004 for the first time in Turkey space research and development activities gained priority in Turkish National Program. In this article, it is aimed to analyze the scope of 21st century space research activities, to compare those with Turkish Space Program and to show that our goals are not higher than our in-country capabilities.
