Abstract
The moment method is used to analyze the scattering effects associated with truncated aperiodic gratings. Various results for different grating profiles, angles of wave incidence, positions of strips, and different focal lengths demonstrate the focusing effect of aperiodic gratings. The focal point of the energy depends on the exact width and space variation of the grating.<>
