Summary form only given. Catherine "Cady" Coleman is in a very visible role as one of the increasing number of women astronauts. She will discuss her career, the choices she made that resulted in her current position, and the challenges associated with training for space flight. Dr. Coleman received a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1983, and a doctorate in polymer science and engineering from the University of Massachusetts in 1991.
