Abstract :
The point-matching method is adopted to solve the resonant frequencies of arbitrary shaped microstrip patch antennas. To verify the correctness of the method, the formulations are carried out for the case when the patch contour is circular and also for the case when it is elliptical. The measured data for the latter verify the theoretical values.<>
